Get in a Good company of 5 people.

It was just yesterday I watched the Avengers. I’m sure many of you have seen it already.

Amazing what few good people can get together and do.

Get in a good company of 5 people, why? This is kind of similar theory like the Avengers, but with a different twist. Avengers were put together in order to defeat the impossible for the mankind alone. While this theory is to bring the best within yourself.

For example let’s say you want to turn into a vegetarian but find it impossible. Then you find 5 other vegetarians. Sit down and eat a few meals with them; talk to them; try to fit in. It will help you have ideas how to get over meat cravings or come up with vegetarian recipes. What happens here is, alone you were not being able to stay vegetarian, no matter how hard you tried. But now in order to fit in, you kind of have to lift yourself up a little bit to a certain level in order to be part of the group.

Same goes for workout resolutions or achieving any other sort of goals as a hobby. If you wish to be a daily blogger you should try to get in touch with other 5 daily bloggers. You will often end up reading or figuring out how they end up having ideas to publish something new and when there is a promise to keep you will act for sure.

So, getting in a good company always lifts you higher from good to better and eventually will lead you to be the best before you even notice it. Get it? Well, then start trying it.

Don’t Give up NOW!!! (To keep blogging)

I read this somewhere (how clumsy of me neither to remember who said it, nor able to find it now),

“Success comes to those who keep on going from the point where others stopped.”

Today’s blog is dedicated to all the bloggers on WordPress. Especially those who crave a good traffic and yet regardless manage to do a good job. Following is inspired from self-realization of going over 1000 hits on my page this weekend. This is specially dedicated to the new bloggers or surviving bloggers.

————————————————————————————————————————————————-

I have not been blogging for too long myself, but what I have noticed a lot is bloggers coming and going in a day or two. Then I have also noticed bloggers who are consistently writing something; something good. Then there are those bloggers who write something and get famous, moving on they get lost in the crowd of “expert bloggers”. Some of those had time once to check your work and follow you but then you never heard from them again because they became too famous and busy, talking to more famous bloggers than you. We can be that too someday, no stopping to it, if you look for growth.

Within 2 months of blogging and having to notice all that is kind of scary.

The quote I mentioned on the top is for bloggers who are doing average. I was one of them. Uh I mean I am one of them or may be not even that good yet. But hey, pardon me if I do feel great already.

When you are blogging you have to concentrate on your own blog. Forget about bringing traffic and attention. Forget about how many people stop by. Stop thinking about topics you rather should write about that people want to read. Because that is when your blog will not stay yours anymore.

Few days back I found out about “bloggers awards” there are like 3 or 4 different types or something like that; never paid much attention. (I rather try remembering who said that awesome quote on the top).

One of the award-winning blogger published an article about “how to achieve those awards”. First thing that blogger said was that blog had been up since 2002. He/She got an award in 2008, so this is what I want to bring your attention to. 6 years of work and patience it took there to win an award (that is if you are planning to achieve one).

Another disturbing truth I found in that article is that blogger started writing about Erotic/Sexual topics that got him/her lots of attention. (No offense to those who are writing on same topic as long as that is exactly what you want). Now, we all know that will bring you attention too if you may write about that topic, because the world seem to love reading about it. But, the point here is the moment you start concentrating on topics to get traffic to your blog will not stay yours anymore.

So, stay where you are. Keep writing/blogging for fun. Because as far as my experience of blogging goes (2 good months), I think I got away meeting very thoughtful people who never know may turn into good friends someday.

Because I choose to write about feel good/inspirational topics, I found a few more who choose to write the same. The way I see it, there is a bunch of superheroes trying to make the world a better place reaching as many readers they can per day. Trying to cheer them up; make them feel positive; make them laugh; keep them going with the daily battles at work or home; help increasing family values. That is all it takes to be a super hero right?

So for super heroes like us and Speedy Sparks (I know you saw that coming), keep doing what you are good at. Don’t be bothered with the traffic.

Having your own thought as a blog; read by 1 person who need it the most will count much more than writing a blog that 1000 people like to read it.

Don’t give up, Keep on going. Write what makes you feel good. Happy blogging.

Speedy Sparks is here. Now!

VICTOR :

Hi, I am Victor. You may remember me from the article about “glass theory”, about the glass being half full and half empty. Well, agreed I kinda dressed up a bit nerdy in that one. You gotta do weird things for money these days man, we all agree to that don’t we? Ha ha….. so, guess what happened few days back. It was around 2 in the morning I heard someone knocking on my door. As I approached the door to open, I heard someone running away. Finally, when I opened the door I found this guy – Speedy. Well, it’s a snail but a pretty strong one.

I kinda stepped on him as I walked out of the door, didn’t crush him to my surprise. Uhh, let’s not talk about that. When I found speedy he was having a little red bow tied around with a note sticking on it (it was actually sticking on him somewhere else that I do not want to talk about). The note said, “This is Speedy Sparks. He is the only hope. Take good care of him.” I thought it was funny for a snail being named “Speedy”. Ironic right?

Pretty shy guy he was when I saw him first. Didn’t want to come out of its shell, but we ended up getting friendly after all. He is pretty cool actually. Although he is so slow made me late to work on Monday. That is because I took him to the park playing “Fetch” on Sunday. Poor thing didn’t make it back till next morning, hahaha. Anyways, I am going to bed. Nightey night.

SPEEDY SPARKS :

They call me Speedy Sparks…….Why?

I am the fastest snail on this planet.

I worked hard because I wanted to prove the world wrong, that believes Snails cannot be speedy.

I was born with those racing stripes on my back.

My name “Speedy Sparks” is the proof that with enough inspiration and believing in yourself you can do anything and you can be anyone you wish to be. I must tell you it is a challenge being Speedy when you are a snail. But hey, little challenge never hurts.

I have the spark within, and it is my job to spread the light ahead and further. Anyone lacking that spark gets a good one from me.

Are you comfortable in your own shell. Because I am. And If you tell my master about my secret, I am going to cut your head off.

I am Speedy Sparks, and this is my secret identity that my master is not aware of.

He himself is being pretty demotivated often and that is why I am here to inspire him.

To remind him that hope is alive, and with enough of inspiration that is going to go further.

so back to same question, “Are you comfortable in your own shell?”

My friend you can never convince the world totally no matter how much you change yourself from outside. In fact it will only lead you changing yourself from within before you even know it, and soon you will not be “YOU” anymore.

The best way to go with it is, being comfortable in your own shell….uhh, I mean in your own skin. So, keep it that way. I must go for now.

Peace out!

Thank you for all your likes that inspires me to come up with interesting inspiring stories you will be reading ahead.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Blogging – The real deal

Alright Bloggers, Ready to hate me? Because here I am going to try hard to help you realize the harsh reality.

This blog is nothing meant to be negative at all. It is just to the point very practical work of mine.

This is my new-born brain child and if reading this offends you as a blogger, think again. It is not meant for offending you at all, this is just for people who do not notice the other side of the blogging. You know the side that is other than, “you are already famous person, so you don’t have to work hard to be a famous blogger“.

At some point we all started blogging and that started with one or other reason. For some of us it was just a place to rant; some thought to share what they think the world should know; some want to show off; some want to make money with it; some want to spread awareness – all those reasons are good. If you have a reason to blog, that fact itself is good enough that you have a reason. Image

In my upcoming fiction book “HOW TO WRITE A BOOK” there is a story of a young Indian boy who is 18, leaving his home country for first time and meeting people all around the world travelling from one country to another to learn cooking from the best of the teachers he can find. While learning to cook and becoming a good chef he also participates in a child sponsorship program. Just at the beginning of all of that, he looks at the website of the company, which is running this sponsorship/charity program and reads all the rules and restriction the sponsor has to obey while communicating with the kid through letters. Reading that makes him realize how “human being” that is  so smart of their brains, has actually managed to complicate things in the world. We needed banks but just having our money safe and having them dispensing at our need was not enough, so now we juggle with all the loans, and payments and then retirement savings plan and there is so much more. He realizes that inventing fire and wheel was not enough of course, but now things are just too complicated.

Today, I was busy working on that story ahead and I realized that same sort of feeling sometimes all of us may have had when we started “Blogging” .When all of you at some point in the past were nothing, who may have lots of blogs and fans and followers now (if you are just a reader and not a blogger or a writer, then this line does not apply to you but keep reading this gets interesting or at least I think so). When a person starts blogging, faces an issues like,

  • where are all the readers?
  • why no views?

Then that fresh blogger suddenly starts looking for answers to all those problems, then he discovers “Tagging” so that way the blogger can drive people to read their blog and increase “Traffic” to the blog. Then a blogger finds out “OH ! So, I must have a routine to publish my posts. I see. ” Then a blogger comes up with a set schedule, then after few more days or in some desperate cases “hours”, a blogger learns more techniques of increasing – traffic; daily views and clicks and so on. Then comes a stage where a blogger cannot be at peace without writing a blog, which eventually leads a blogger to keep checking if the traffic to his blog is increasing or not. A blogger wants to check that progress even when he/she wakes up to pee at 2.47am.

Sometimes from having nothing to do with one thing, our whole world starts rotating around that very same thing. It happens before we even know it. But, its okay. If you keep up a positive perception it is more like a feeling of, “Hey, congratulations! You are a passionate blogger.” But only poor blogger knows how much struggle he/she has made to get those 1247 views till date and having 74 followers from 12 different countries. Not an easy task.

It is so interesting how one came up with the idea of “blogging” and evolved it to this stage. Now, let me bring you that part from my book again. Sometimes we love complicating things. We have already started long ago. We will never stop. We will keep finding new things and keep making them more complicated everyday. But, do not worry. It is totally normal; it is okay and most of all it will still be under control like everything is now or is it?

This blog is dedicated to all the bloggers who have worked really hard to get where they are today, feeling happy and satisfied about it. I just have one prayer for everyone reading this. Whether you are a reader; a blogger; a cook; a doctor; a garbage man; a bus driver; a police-man, I pray that almighty gives all of us the sense to realize “what we have, when we have is enough”. I pray that he would help all of us from not going crazy asking for more than we can handle.

Good luck !!! Happy reading. Happy writing.
